What is the difference between Control and Expansion Joint ?

Control Joints:- Control Joints are used to bear the movement of concrete when concrete shrinks during curing.  A joint of 3 to 5 mm is generally cut with the help of a diamond concrete saw blade called Saw cut. The depth of the cut must be 1/4 times the full depth of the slab.

Expansion Joint:- Expansion joints are also called movement joints. A movement joint is panned to welfare the moisture /temperature-induced expansion and contraction of the concrete slab.
