The Hydrological cycle is also known as water cycle. water cycle is a regular moment of water on the above and below surface of earth.

Because of water cycle the mass of water on earth is always constant but in reservoirs, lake , rivers and sea etc. the quantity of water is different depends on the climate condition. 

Important terminology in water cycle :- 

Precipitation :- The water comes on the surface of earth in the form of rain.

Transpiration :- Release of water from leaves and trees 

Evaporation:-   Change of water into vapour
